CARBICA is the premier regional body for the promotion and development of Archives.

Carbica, the Caribbean Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives is part of a bigger network, the International Council on Archives (ICA) which works closely with UNESCO. ICA has more than 1700 members in over 180 countries, which makes it truly international.

MIGAN - Memory of the Islands / A Gateway for Archival Networking

It is a webportal that gives access to the archival resources of the Caribbean. In its full achievement, it will connect all Caribbean archival institutions in a common data base, and give access to digital archival contents and full descriptions of fonds and collections kept throughout the Caribbean. It already aims at providing a detailed directory of public Caribbean archives.

CHEN - Caribbean Heritage Emergency Network

A network of experts and professionals who are willing to save and preserve the Caribbean Heritage, provide training, and carry out response missions in affected areas.

As a member you will have access to our login portal where you can find important information and downloadable documents. Your membership will also enable you to join us in all the activities and events that are sponsored by the Association. Remember that these events are only open to fully subscribed members of CARBICA, so we encourage you to renew your membership early.
