Trust you are all well! Now that we have arrived at the end of this calendar year, we have the privilege of looking back and thanking you for all your support during the year. CARBICA excelled–albeit very quietly and unassumingly, this year! From providing training in cultural heritage protection in St Vincent and the Grenadines to establishing connections and relationships with international cultural and documentary heritage protection organizations, to supporting our candidates in prominent ICA elections, to offering prizes to student awardees at the UWI. CARBICA remains strong, resolute and respected as the voice for archives and records management in the Caribbean.2023 marks the end of our quadrennial term as the Executive Council. We look forward to your participation and support as CARBICA reenergizes itself for the future. We want to thank Ms Janelle Duke (National Archives of Trinidad and Tobago),who assists us with communications support as well as the ICT team at the Belize Archives and Records Service for their website support throughout the year.On behalf of President Avril Belfon and the entire Executive Council, do enjoy the end of year holidays and best wishes for 2023.
